SPECIAL THANKS TO THE FRIENDS OF THE ARBORETUM

Our Partners

The Weber Arboretum has had the substantial benefit of support from major corporations to partner with us for the well being of this amazing community resource now and for the future.  We are grateful for their generosity with recognition that these Arboretum goals could not have been met without their significant contributions to communities in Washington and Oregon.

Among the trees on Arboretum grounds is a Big Leaf Maple that self planted about the time that Fort Vancouver was being developed 200 years ago.  The tree had not had professional care and needed trimming to support the future health of the tree.  Bartlett Tree Experts came to the Arboretum with a staff of experts and a trainee to protect the magnificent tree, and a lovely nearby large Ginkgo.  In addition experts with Bartlett did a survey of all the major trees with a report on the status and future care of the trees.  This is information of great long term value.

The Non-Profit came to the Arboretum with a staff that included young people who were in training to have careers in home inspections.  A very thorough and detailed report was provided concerning the older home on the grounds for evaluation and planning purposes.  The contact also created the future opportunity to review priorities with Non-Profit Home Inspections following the Arboretum review.  This is a significant offer of assistance for both, and will be an important part of the long term future of the Weber House. There is great long term value here.
